PRIVATE SERVICES PAID FOR BY THE PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEMS

Many families have the DOE pay for private specialized programs from summer enrichment, to tutoring services to $230,000.00 autism programs and more. How is this accomplished?

The laws only require students with disabilities access to a program designed to provide minimal benefits. This is partially why you may feel that the school is not doing enough to help your child.

However, the law does require the school to fairly develop your child's IEP and in Hawaii this goal is rarely achieved.

Working with your attorney (not an advocate that does not understand the strategies needed) can provide you with the options that may allow your child to get effective private or public services so their future will be filled with opportunities. And it is FREE to parents through our firm.

Call us before your IEP meeting to discuss how we may be able to help your family.
